Writing Center Offers Resources for Students and Faculty

Last fall, the writing center conducted 2,500 tutorials and held workshops reaching 1,000 students, compared to only 900 tutorials in spring 2007. Also, tutor session lengths were increased from 30 minutes to one hour. The center recently launched a new Web site, featuring online appointment scheduling, writing resource links and a grammar guide. In the future, the site will include podcasts and “how to” videos.
