UA to Celebrate “Year of Entrepreneurship” in 2008

The year 2008 will be the “Year of Entrepreneurship” across the UA campus and the newly formed UA Council for Entrepreneurship plans a number of events and competitions that include a week-long celebration in February.

“We have a number of ongoing entrepreneurial components across campus,” said Dr. Joe Benson, interim vice president for research and vice provost. “This will be a good way to recognize each of those components and emphasize to the public how important each is, and to increase emphasis on all of our entrepreneurial activity.”
