College of Human Environmental Sciences Now Offers Family Therapy ClinicBy Suzanne Dowling
Families and married couples in and around the Tuscaloosa community in need of counseling have a new place to turn. The Capstone Family Therapy Clinic, staffed by faculty and graduate students in the marriage and family program, opened this semester as a service for the general public and a teaching facility for UA students working toward a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Dr. Milla Boschung, dean of the College of Human Environmental Sciences, said it is not a new program but a new emphasis within the human development and family studies department at Alabama. |
