A nip here, a tuck there and we came up with a sleeker design that we hope you will find more appealing and easier to read.

As the primary means by which the University informs and communicates with its faculty and staff, Dialog’s purpose is to provide timely, accurate and valuable information. Since its inception in the fall of 1980, Dialog has undergone many redesigns. Readership surveys and commentary tell us that you value Dialog to provide UA news and information in a credible manner. To meet your need for internal news, we will continue to keep you informed on brief announcements and timely items on a weekly basis via Dialog Extra and to have a presence here on the UA Web site.

Our efforts to improve Dialog are ongoing, but our mission remains constant. From a cover story on UA’s latest research efforts to calendar items on upcoming cultural events to changes to benefits plans, the intent is to provide something for everyone.

So, while we may have changed the way our paper looks, Dialog remains a familiar friend to our readership. We hope that you will continue to enjoy reading Dialog.
