Worth QuotingUA faculty and staff are frequently quoted in state, regional and national media on a wide range of topics. Recent commentary includes: "It can become very dramatic. They have to learn to be flexible and quick and meet METI's needs to keep him alive." Marsha Adams, associate professor of nursing, as quoted in The Birmingham News in a story on the College's recently acquired computer controlled simulator, designed to hone nursing students' clinical skills. "My wife and I don't have our own children, so integrating undergraduates into the work is kind of our thing." Guy Caldwell, assistant professor of biological sciences, as quoted in Insider Higher Ed in a feature about UA biology student Cody Locke who, at the Caldwells' encouragement, developed a database on the genetics of epilepsy.
