Sessions are offered every Monday. Three ways to register and to check out training manual:
Human Resources Development training sessions will be conducted at G54 Rose Administration building unless otherwise stated. Persons with special needs should contact Daphne Harbin. The Training Resource Center (TRC) offers videos for a staff development "lunch and learn" program. The TRC accommodates six to eight people. Benefits Update -- Open Enrollment Guidelines for 2002 By Sandra Abrams, Manager of Benefits The open enrollment window will be Nov. 1-27. Open enrollment provides employees, retirees and COBRA participants a chance to enroll in new coverage or change or cancel existing coverage. It applies to the health, dental and vision plans and to the flexible spending account plan known as Bamaflex. Participants may enroll for benefits by downloading forms from the Benefits Web page at www.bama.ua.edu/~hr/forms/index.htm, by picking up forms in the HR Service Center (G-69 Rose Administration Building), or by calling 348-7732 to request forms to be sent via campus mail. All enrollment and change forms must be returned to the HR Service Center by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Forms may returned in person to G-69 Rose Administration Building or mailed to Box 870174. Faxed copies cannot be accepted. If you do not enroll or make changes to your medical, dental or vision plan elections for 2003, you will automatically continue your current benefit elections in 2003. The exception is your BAMAFLEX account. Even if you are presently enrolled in BAMAFLEX, you must complete a new election form to continue in 2003.
