Faculty Reserve Items Accessible Electronically

All articles, tests, and class notes placed on reserve by faculty in the University Libraries will be available electronically beginning this fall semester. Students will be able to access these items through the Libraries' Catalog from on or off campus. Book chapters or sections of books will be subject to the usual copyright restrictions. Copyright permission may be required for some items placed on reserve.

At least 10 working days will be required for processing electronic reserve items, but faculty are requested to submit items for electronic reserve for fall as soon as possible, since this is a new service.

The deadline for articles, tests or class notes to be placed on reserve is Aug. 7. Faculty are asked to bring materials to the appropriate library (Bruno, Rodgers, McLure or Gorgas). To avoid scanning problems, the copies should be clean with no highlighting, underlining, or staples. Copies must be on one side only, not duplexed. A reserve form must be filled out. For more information, contact the reserve desk of the appropriate library.
