Crimson Spirit Award - Joy Sherman

Joy Sherman
Joy Sherman

Joy Sherman, administrative specialist in the Office of Advancement, is first a team player, going beyond her normal duties whenever it is needed. She performs her duties "with her brilliant mind, her active physical body and her loving heart," wrote her nominator, Sandee Kirby, director of the President’s Cabinet and assistant to the Vice President for Advancement.

Kirby praises Sherman for two main characteristics: "She always follows the Golden Rule, and she exemplifies her name - Joy!" wrote Kirby.

The University continuously seeks nominations for Crimson Spirit Award recipients. To nominate an individual, who must be a current non-faculty employee, contact Human Resources at 348-6690.
