Williamson Expands Knowledge of Telemedicine
Dr. Lloyda Williamson, associate professor in the College of Community Health Sciences, directs the University Medical Center's telemedicine program. A travel grant allowed her to visit the University of Kentucky in Lexington to learn about that school's telemedicine efforts.
Update Online Directory Listings Before Aug. 31

Faculty and staff are encouraged to have a current photo on file with their department or with University photography. Photos are used in both external and internal communications, including Dialog.

The Library School Association of the School of Library and Information Studies has announced the establishment of the Kate Webb Ragsdale Endowed Scholarship to honor the legacy of Kate Webb Ragsdale.

Building Inspections Scheduled
Beginning May 13, the Alabama Division of Risk Management (ALDORM) will have loss control representatives on campus to perform an inspection for each and every building under ownership and control of the University.

Reminder: 2014 Tobacco-Use Surcharge
Effective Jan. 1, 2014, any UA employee or his or her spouse (or sponsored adult dependent*) covered under the UA medical plan who has used tobacco products in any form during the previous 12 months will pay a surcharge of $25 per month ($300 per year).
