Experience Halloween in Oz

Come to meet the Wizard of Oz at the Moody Music Building on Sunday, Oct. 28, when the Community Music School presents Halloween in Oz from 2-4 p.m.
Halloween in Oz is a family-friendly Halloween event featuring inflatables, carnival-type games, door prizes, face painting, spider web maze and costume parade. Dorothy, The Wicked Witch, Glinda the Good Witch, the Wizard and other Oz characters will be there to meet guests.
Admission is $5 per person and free for children under 2 years of age. For more information on Halloween in Oz, please call 348-6741.
All proceeds benefit the Community Music School scholarship fund.
At CMS more than 600 students receive private and group instruction on wind, brass, string, piano, harp, organ, guitar, drums, voice and composition/theory. The CMS also features a thriving Kindermusik® program for ages birth to 7 years. Ensembles and group classes include the Tuscaloosa Youth Orchestra, chamber strings, various chamber ensembles, and adult group instruction on strings and piano. Open for enrollment year-round, summer options also include a string orchestra, one-week instrument camps and a beginning musical for ages 6-11.
The Community Music School (CMS) is a non-degree granting outreach program for the School of Music, serving interested students of all ages and levels of ability. An accredited member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education, the 45-member CMS faculty is comprised of School of Music faculty, selected graduate and undergraduate students, and professionals from the community.
