TRS contributions for most employees will increase from 7.25 percent of pay to 7.50 percent. WORTH QUOTING — “Sometimes people say that by taking lessons, you are drown proofing your child, and there is no such thing. People still need to take precautions. One (swim) session a summer is not going to teach a kid to swim.” Shane Reeves, coordinator of UA’s aquatic programs at the Student Recreation Center, as quoted in The Tuscaloosa News.
