Free Memory Screening for Those Age 50+

June 18th, 2012 - Filed under: News

Free memory screenings for those 50 years of age or older will be held throughout the summer at Capstone Village.

Graduate students in the doctoral psychology program are conducting the screenings under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. People concerned about whether their forgetfulness is normal or possibly an indicator of serious cognitive decline might be interested in undergoing a screening. Each screening is expected to last no longer than one hour.

Participants who are identified with potential memory problems will be referred for a more extensive evaluation.

Those who wish to participate should call 348-1921 and leave a message, their names, telephone numbers and convenient times to be contacted.
