First Wednesday Test of Emergency Systems Scheduled
June 4th, 2012 - Filed under: News
The University will test UA Alerts and the emergency public address system at 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6. The test will last approximately 30 seconds and should not be disruptive. Immediately following at noon, the Tuscaloosa Emergency Management Agency will test the outdoor tornado sirens. Building managers should contact AV Solutions at 348-6011 or email@example.com to report any problems with the PA system or if they do not hear the announcement in their buildings.
Faculty and staff should update their contact information on myBama to ensure they receive the UA Alerts messages. People who currently receive the alerts but would prefer to be contacted differently will need to revise their contact information. To view and make changes to their information online, faculty and staff can log in to their myBama accounts at http://mybama.ua.edu.
