Employees Invited to Fall Faculty/Staff Address
UA President Robert E. Witt will hold his annual fall faculty/staff address on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Bryant Conference Center.
The Team You Don’t See on Game Day
While all eyes are fixed on the football team inside Bryant-Denny Stadium on game day, another team is also hard at work in the stadium. And around the stadium. And on the Quad. This team, about 120 strong, works 12–14 hours a day keeping campus safe, clean and attractive for visitors who have come to watch that other hardworking team.
Severe Weather Preparation Includes Knowing Shelter Locations
To prepare for the possibility of severe weather on campus, UA employees should locate the storm shelter site for each building where they work. The location is noted on the evacuation map posted on a wall within each building near the main entry way or stairwell.
UA Observes Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month
A monthlong celebration of Hispanic-Latino culture is being held through Oct. 20 in events organized by the UA Crossroads Community Center.
