Online Campus Directory Revised

The online faculty/staff directory has been revised and may now be updated through myBama.
Previously, UA employees could choose to opt-in to the directory and were responsible for submitting their own listing. In the new system, all active faculty and staff are listed in the online directory.
Required information in the listing consists of the following:
• Campus phone number
• Email address
Other fields are optional.
To update a listing, a user should do the following:
1. Log in to myBama (mybama.ua.edu).
2. Confirm or edit their personal information.
3. Click on “apply changes.”
Employees have the capacity to update their public directory information on a newly built interface on myBama. On the directory site, the link to update a listing takes users to myBama. The myBama page is also the location for employees to update personal contact information, UA Alerts contact information and emergency contact information.
The new online directory has the same location on the UA home page as the previous directory, directory.ua.edu, and is searchable. It is now a comprehensive online campus directory, including students as well as UA employees.
The directory site includes a FAQ page. For questions not answered there, please contact the OIT service desk at email@example.com.
For the upcoming 2011-12 printed campus directory, individual listings will reflect information listed in the online directory as of Aug. 31, 2011. In the future, individual faculty and staff listings in the printed campus directory will come from the new online directory.
