EAP Website Expanding
For years, the University has worked with DCH Health Systems to provide a quality Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to UA employees and their families. EAP offers professional counseling for a variety of issues at no cost to faculty and staff.
Critical-Illness Insurance Now Offered
The University has worked with Aflac, one of the best-known names in insurance, to develop a critical-illness insurance plan for regular full-time and regular part-time UA employees and their families.

UA Launches Social Network for Ridesharing
The University of Alabama has partnered with Zimride to launch a social network for ridesharing. The Zimride platform uses Facebook integration to facilitate matching riders who wish to share commutes or one-time rides.
