The University has established an art gallery in downtown Tuscaloosa that will exhibit works year round from the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art at The University of Alabama, as well as other artists’ exhibitions.
Faculty and staff may opt out of receiving a print campus directory in the fall. To opt out, log in to myBama, select the Employee tab, click on the Employee Services folder, select the Campus Directory Opt Out link, check the opt-out box, and then click the Submit button.
Tuscaloosa Transit, in partnership with Crimson Ride, has begun a new route from the downtown Intermodal Facility (IMF) to the UA campus and back. This bus runs a complete route each half hour, from 5 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday throughout the year (except holidays).
The University Libraries has transitioned to a new Google-like search interface version of Scout that now includes full-text articles along with traditional catalog material. It will soon include digitized items from the Hoole Special Collections Library.
