CRIMSON RIDE ROUTE CHANGESCrimson Ride has implemented a number of route changes that make the system more efficient, user-friendly and environmentally friendly. The simplified routes allow for more buses on each route, which reduces passenger wait times and results in less fuel consumption. The changes include the following:

  • reduction in the total number of routes from eight to four (See map for route details.)
  • elimination of the fixed bus route on weekends (Weekend service will be available through 348-RIDE [7433].)
  • addition of a weekend shopping route on Sundays (1-6 p.m.), which will transport passengers to popular off-campus retail centers, such as Target, University Mall and Midtown Village

Crimson Ride users should continue to use the TransLoc website, which displays the movement of buses around campus in real time. TransLoc now offers a smart phone application.

COUNSELING CENTER NEW LOCATION — The Counseling Center has relocated to 1101 Jackson Ave. (South Lawn Office Building), adjacent to the east side of the School of Law (A map to the new location can be found at http://www.sa.ua.edu/counseling.)
