New UA Leadership Academy Accepting Applications

Faculty and staff who are interested in a new UA Leadership Academy have until March 10 to submit applications. Up to 10 Fellows will be selected from faculty and staff poised for advancement to senior leadership positions such as provost, dean or vice president. Fellows will complete a project directed by a mentor who may be or may not be in the Fellow’s field or reporting line. In addition, Fellows will have regular workshops, meetings and socials to further their knowledge of strategies for UA’s direction, operations and networks of influence. Three to five Leadership Academy Fellows who are members of the faculty also will participate in the SEC Academic Consortium’s Academic Leaders Development Program for potential deans or provosts in SEC universities.
