Dr. Jennings Bryant, holder of the Reagan Chair of Broadcasting in the College of Communication and Information Sciences, became president of the 3,800-member International Communication Association this summer at its 52nd annual conference in Seoul, Korea.

Throw It Away, We Pay: UA Recycling Program Makes a Comeback

When you throw away instead of recycling that computer paper and mixed office paper, those aluminum drink cans and newspapers, the University pays. We all pay environmental costs as well. It seems recycling makes good cents and sense, reason enough for UA faculty and staff to get involved with recycling on campus.

College of Engineering Receives $8 Million Endowment

UA's College of Engineering has received an endowment of more than $8 million from the estate of Alton N. Scott. The bequest is the largest gift ever given to the College of Engineering, and the second largest estate gift in the history of the University.
